A shocking move came from coach Nenad Bjelica, who took over at Union Berlin after leaving Trabzonspor.
The Croatian coach slapped Bayern Munich footballer Leroy Sane, with whom he had tensions in the second half of the game. While there was turmoil on the field after Bjelica’s slap, the tension eased after players from both teams intervened.
Bjelica received a red card from match referee Frank Willenborg after slapping Sane.
