The third time was forever! Chelsea finally clinched their first win of the 2023/2024 Premier League after Thursday night’s reception against Luton Town, who left Stamford Bridge 3-0.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side’s goals had Raheem Sterling as a common denominator. After 17 minutes he made it 1-0 with a wonderful individual performance. He received the ball down the right wing of the Blues attack, pierced the Luton Town defense in the center of the box and shot across without giving Belgian goalkeeper Thomas Kaminski a chance.
The second goal came in the second half when Malo Gusto crossed into 11 yards from the right where Sterling came up unmarked and shot just what he wanted for the Blues’ second goal.
The same Sterling set up the 3-0, after a pass from Enzo Fernández, with a cross from the right to Nicolas Jackson, who set the final score in the 75th minute.

Enzo Fernandez is a shooter. Check this pass for Rahim Sterling before you endorse Nicolas Jackson ????#ChelseavsLuton #CHELUTpic.twitter.com/aZ6AX38B6C
