Luca and the new adventure in the official Tokyo team: “It’s a challenge, I will do everything to get them back to the top: I was looking for a factory team and the Academy helped me. Ducati never made me feel unimportant, but the more you are, the higher it helps you”
– Valencia, Spain)
Luca Marini has grown up, he has left his comfort zone and taken on the big challenge, away from the all-conquering Ducati and towards Honda, which has had more and more problems in recent seasons. On Tuesday in Valencia there was the debut of the new RC213V, completely revolutionized and, according to its new partner Joan Mir, significantly better than its predecessor in all areas. Marini finished the day in 10th place and as it turned out, the Japanese technicians were extremely happy with the first contact with Valentino Rossi’s brother, who was very analytical and sensitive in his explanations and perceptions. For contractual reasons, Luca cannot speak about Honda until the beginning of 2024, but at the weekend in Valencia, before the announcement of his departure from the VR46 and his arrival at Honda, he told us about his new adventure.
