The Bahçeşehir College men’s basketball team lost to the visiting Portuguese team Porto 90-80 in the first game of the quarterfinals of the FIBA European Cup.
The first quarter of the game, played at the Dragao Arena in Porto, ended with a lead of 23:15 and the home team entered the locker room with a lead of 42:32.
Although Bahçeşehir College tried to reduce the deficit with shots from behind the three-point line in the third quarter, Porto started the final period with a lead of 62:57. The Portuguese representative maintained their lead in the final quarter and won the game 90:80.
The second leg of the game will be played in Istanbul on March 13.
