The media and communications officials of Persepolis and Esteghlal attended a meeting with the members of the Ethics Commission today.
According to “Varzesh Se”, the Football Association Ethics Committee last week issued an interim order to disqualify the media manager of Sarkhpoushan and the vice president of communications of the Blue Posh club following the statements made by Esteghlal and Persepolis clubs.
Alireza Ashraf and Mehdi Hejbari were banned from any football-related activities until further notice and it was decided that they would appear in the ethics committee.
The hearing into the actions of the media representatives of the Esteghlal and Persepolis clubs took place on Tuesday in the Ethics Committee. Alireza Ashraf went to the ethics committee with the legal director of Persepolis and Hejbari attended the meeting with the legal director of Abi Pushan.
In the next few days, Reza Darwish and Ali Khateer, CEOs of the Persepolis and Esteghlal clubs, will also answer to the Football Association’s Ethics Committee for the recent scandals, and finally the Ethics Committee will give its verdict.
