Premier League: Chelsea wins, Man City fails before Leipzig duel

In the last game of the 7th matchday of the English Premier League late on Monday evening (October 2nd, 2023), Fulham FC lost 0-2 (0-2) against city rivals Chelsea FC.

The decision came early in the game when Mykhaylo Mudryk and Armando Broja scored a brace in the 18th and 19th minutes. Bernd Leno in the “Cottagers” box had no chance of scoring either goal.

Manchester City makes a mistake before the Leipzig game

Record champions Manchester United meanwhile remains in crisis. Bayern Munich’s group opponents in the Champions League lost to Crystal Palace with 0:1 (0:1) and is only in the middle of the table. Lost without the still ailing national player Pascal Groß Brighton & Hove Albion at Aston Villa clearly with 1:6 (0:3). Ollie Watkins scored three times (14th/21st/65th).
