Premier League: Man City wins at Everton, Liverpool ahead

Manchester City turned a deficit into a win at Everton on Wednesday (December 27, 2023). City rivals United had accomplished the same thing the day before. Liverpool are currently top of the English league table Premier League.

The “Citizens” won 3-1 at Everton FC after being 0-1 down at half-time and moved up to fourth place in the table. Manchester had significantly better chances in the first half hour, but Everton took the lead through Jack Harrison (29th). But after the break, the club world champion turned the tables. Phil Foden (53′) and Julian Alvarez (64′) turned the game in favor of Pep Guardiola’s team, Bernardo Silva completed the clear victory (87′).

“Reds” ahead at least until Thursday

Nottingham surprises Newcastle
